Highlights Monday evening’s School Board meeting was an unusual one, to say the least. There was a lot of going and coming in the Council Chamber. The meeting commenced with a closed session, in which . The School Board departed for about half-an-hour before returning. Upon return, the School Board Chair, Ms. Dawn Page, announced that there would be a ten-minute press conference to welcome the new superintendent of Richmond Public Schools, Mr. Jason Kamras, and formally introduce him to the community.
